No cookies, no accounts, no third-party embeds. Visit counts run on our own server. Session recording is off unless you turn it on.
This site is run by a private individual, the maintainer of PotionUI, as a non-commercial open-source project. There is no company behind it. Questions and requests about your data reach the maintainer through Discord or the PotionUI GitHub organisation.
It is a static page served from our own server. Fonts, images, and videos load from the same server. It sets no cookies and creates no account. The interactive demo runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
We count visits with a self-hosted Umami instance at analytics.potionui.com. It receives the page address and title, the referring site, your screen size, browser language, and user agent. Your IP address is used to derive a country and a visitor identifier that changes daily; the address itself is not stored. No cookies are set, nothing is shared with third parties, and browsers that send a Do Not Track signal are not counted. You can also exclude yourself below.
Only if you allow it in the notice that appears at the bottom of the page on your first visit. Recording captures a copy of the page as you see it, your scrolling, clicks, and pointer movement, and builds click and scroll heatmaps. Text you type into any field is masked. Of the visits that allow it, about one in seven is actually recorded, for at most five minutes each. Recordings stay on the same self-hosted server and are viewed only by the maintainer to improve this page. You can withdraw your permission at any time below.
Statistics and recordings are kept only as long as they help us understand how this page is used, then deleted. They are never used for advertising, profiling, or anything unrelated to this site.
Where the GDPR applies, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for its deletion, and object to the visit statistics. Because statistics and recordings carry no name, email, or stored IP address, we may need details such as the time of your visit and your country to find any matching record.
